Sleep Dentistry
Many Americans are not sleeping as they should because they suffer from the medical condition known
as sleep apnea. They may also snore and even clench and grind their teeth while asleep. Sleep apnea
can place a patient at a seven times higher risk of stroke and double the risk of a heart attack! Snoring
is not romantic! Bruxing and clenching teeth during sleep is the frequent cause of cracked teeth and
failure of existing dental restorations. Drs. Callicutt and Dayries can often help with these kinds of
problems by fabricating a custom fitted oral appliance to wear while sleeping!

Questions About Sleep Apnea?

Do you or someone you know suffer from sleep apnea? Have you used a CPAP in the past but have trouble tolerating it or just can't wear it at all?

If so, we might we be able to help. Dr. Callicutt and Dr. Dayries are both members of the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and would love to help you sleep more comfortably and possibly be rid of your CPAP for good!

Sleep apnea is a serious medical condition that occurs when a patient is sleeping and stops breathing for a short period of time. This can be diagnosed by a sleep study. There are many methods of treating sleep apnea but some are difficult to tolerate.

Give our office a call today (770-753-0067) and we will be happy to discuss with you a dental appliance that may alleviate your problems.

Yours in health,
